That's awesome!!! Those boys have got some big brass 1's!!!
Now just waiting for Rowdy to post saying they are 2 dangly and should go wakestyle, or whatever the equivalent is on land.

Feck in hell!!! It's just hit hit me: New sport!! Wakestyle landboarding!! Get a farmer to tow you be his tractor and plow. Sure you will get plenty of wake right there. LMAO

Front roll kiteloop and the "1/4 pipe" footage got me stoked. Mr Float.... They still have the ashes, lollies to doctor the ball last time, now they rely on the physios. Let's not blame Mr Pontings captaincy, that would be unaustralian.

That makes me feel soft, as I hesitate trying some of those moves on water.

Wow that didn't take much to get personal- hey I thought you quit this place, no need to chuck mud because I made a comment on your video.

You can't tell me any of that looks appealing
-it's harder to do than on the water
-your far more likely to hurt yourself
-you can't jump as high nor do as many tricks
-the tricks look dangly and disjointed (even compared to standard board offs on the water which have some ballerinaesque flow

.....and by no means am I saying it isn't psycho, it most certainly is, still looks stupid.

EDIT, EDIT...... spacey make your mind up.

It's a joke, sorry...... But isnt that you getting personal with non-locals at Woodies?????? what goes comes......

What is so wrong with guys going hard landboarding, if you think it is that easy, please post a vid of yourself going hard on gravel roads, now that would be hardcore... Tall poppy syndrome.. Its a lot warmer on land than it is in the sea in England FYI

Actually I think you will find that the person getting the finger is my good friend Charl, whom actually probably rides woodies more than I do and rides boots. Go figure.

The only reason to watch the videos is hoping one of them is going to impale themselves on one of the wooden poles. I know I would much rather watch that crap on the water or snow(yes I know technically also water).

World-wide, everyone else in the kitesurfing community thinks the vid (NOT MINE), is cool, a bit of fun with guys pushing the levels of landboarding to levels not yet seen ( By me at least). AND then there's a group of "Hard-core" young aussies who ****bag everything that they are not into. (Question) is it a self-esteem issue???????

Hi Guys,

Don't mean to break up your tea party, but I have a tiny amount of land board experience (up to jumping and aerial transitions) and can say without a shadow of shame, that land boarding is VERY much more difficult than water kiting.

Massive respect to the Pommy crew (that hurt). Just landing small jumps (4-6 feet) when traveling at speed is difficult enough as balance weighting and directional alignment of the board with the direction of travel is critical unlike kiteboarding where you can fudge it even 20 degrees off the line of travel.

I can't even comprehend throwing a 30 foot high kite loop on a land board. Dat sh1t is crazy!

like many aspects of kitesailing landboarding is one of those things that are fun as hell to do but just look a bit off on the spectators perspective...

this is how i got into kiteboarding and i got to a stage of throwing fronts and backs and transitions... and yes it hurts like hell just bailing from 4 foot airs..

no i havnt watched the video yet and probably wont but i give landboarders full props for having balls, probably the only side of kite sailing that has real consequence.

when i was in pommy land there was this little kid like 11 yrs old throwing down hard, couldnt believe what he was doing on a patch of grass..

like i said and im pretty sure it was spaceys point too it just doesnt look right but it sure as hell is harder than water boarding and def takes 100X more balls to throw down.

The guys from Push Kiting have been doing amazing things on landboards and pushing the limits for a few years now. It's well worth checking out some more of their work.

Hey dave.....

I have a different opinion to you, I am allowed to post it on a public forum if I want to.

Also as far as self esteem issues go, check your self out in the mirror. Continually attacked the poster and not the post just because I don't think this is a good image for us to portay of our sport, nor a safe one.

Hi there dave. thanks very much for voicing everybody elses opinion. Looks like we can all get our accounts deleted and you can continue to post for us. many thanks.

BTW landboarding is and will continue to look danglie and just a little bit silly ** only my opinion of course.
