lol.

There have been 3 topics today:

1) 2015 cabrinha radar
2) disappeared Cab Radar review
3) Disappearing topics

All have been removed.

Amongst all this have been accusations of a "North Korea" website.

Here's the funny part.... they were all deleted by their authors, not us.

The first post was deleted by it's author.

The guy then asking about the disappearing topic, when I replied .. he deleted the topic!

Then another guy starts "Lot of disappearing topics today. So this is what North Korean censorship is like! I knew it was coming."

...and guess what .. he deleted his topic!

So, please .. just be aware, that it's the author's removing their own posts. Maybe the solution would be to stop folks deleting/editing their own posts. But given that there is so much self censorship/2nd thoughts, no doubt there would be upsettednes about that too.

Enjoy ...

Laurie (Kim jong un), I'd start by deleting this thread and keeping the conspiracy theories going. Its been a good read
Was it you on the grassy knoll?

Edit: (He, He), My comment is supposed to be tongue in cheek. I might delete it if I get too many red thumbs.

Don't change the way the site works, it's harmless fun and banter about what is after all ......... A sport!

People will always be opinionated and outspoken, especially in type rather than in person.

If the site was changed so that people couldn't delete posts all of a sudden silly people like me wouldn't be able to take back silly comments that we've made and then thought after that it may offend or upset people. Seabreeze can't sit there and be a 24hour has someone upset someone policeman, you guys have to live as well and spend time with your families and kitesurfing etc... So the way it works now allows people to rethink and take their words back or edit them with a touch of hindsight.

In an ideal world no one would post something that would offend or upset, but hey this ain't an ideal world. You guys at seabreeze do a cracking job from my point of view and allowing this creates balance. Keep it up!

As far as the first post that was deleted with the review one has to think a bit more critically and think why it was deleted? The post was an opinion, none of the replies were harsh and it was very balanced. There was a state and suburb mentioned as well as the fact that there was a person of a particular profession involved. No names were mentioned but locals would know who was involved.

It may be the poster thought better of implicating a friend or fellow kiter or it maybe that external pressures were put on outside of seabreeze. It's like watching 60 minutes or A Current Affair and accepting that there is only 1 side to any story. If we think critically and put that in the pot with the fact that it is a small community relatively speaking we may actually think perhaps the post was pointed out to be upsetting given the timing of the product release (being tomorrow) to the retailers of the brand.

I posted the North Korean comment that you mentioned and it was supposed to be read as tongue in cheek, but there you go, because type has no emotion or intonation it can be read 100 ways.

I say let the conspiracy theories roll on! Us humans prefer a conspiracy theory to no theories at all. It's part of outer adrenalin glands being too big, our frontal lobes being underdeveloped and the fact that we are monkeys in shoes (stolen quote). BUT it'd be downright boring any other way!

Keep up the good work Laurie!

Sorry for asking and deleting! After you replied I thought, well I'm happy and don't bother the others, but should have left it!
But it was kind of funny that KIM was on a Aus holiday!

Another forum I used to lurk on where a post was deleted by the mods it leaves behind a simple 'post deleted by moderators/author' message or whatever the case may be. It helped put some topics into context it you know something was deleted by someone but doesn't disclose the author or content.

The main contributor to the above named topics has been rather quite since his rant?

Did you get a knock on the door ?

Yeah but that place probably only has it occur rarely (like most forums I see)

Unfortunatley the 10yrs of under-moderation here means they could NOW not possibly keep up with deleting the regular top 2 or 3 d1ckheads trolling crap even if they tried.

My last question thread is virtually unreadable after they cut out all the chaff from the fckheds

Wield the ban hammer more often, and then the need to moderate threads is greatly reduced.

lol ^^^^ kinda funny that it was a lot of your comments that were cut from the thread though for being crude lol
The mods try and stop all the swearing to keep it kid and female friendly here too but like in your post above you get around that and abbreviate the words so they don't show as ****. Stones in glass houses lol. You cant pick which rules you want to follow that the mods set.
Wield that ban hammer mods.
All in good fun dude.
