Ok rather than whinge about the politics..

How about thought input for a kiters PFD, so some brand will actually make what we need it to be like.

Obviously accessibility, where to put a pocket(s)
For tricking and big impact impact
Plastic Zipper or Velcro
Safety knife ?
Energy bar and stick of Dynamite for Jaws defence (dont get confused with flares ;) )

Safe for lines not to catch on any part of it

Colours - Bogan and hi vis'

Why not incorporate the pfd as part of the harness, eliminates one item. Like a couple years ago one manufacturer incoproated an inflateble bag for bach arch support, if we can get away with an inflatebale pfd, use one in the harness or just carry an inflateable attached to the back or somewhere out the way.

As long as it incorporates a pouch for your waterproof tissues, it should be a big seller in WA

when i first got into kiteboarding i didn't understand why no one wore jackets. Because i came from wakeboarding background where everyone wear pdf3's i somewhat get it that you float better in the sea than the Murray river and the kite is pulling you up and also alot of the time its waist deep water etc. So to put the two together i thought of this idea i have never done it get a normal wakeboard jacket pdf3 than take the front buckle of and put a multi spreader bar there. than you attach a handle pass system loop on the back of the jacket so you don't wear a normal kite harness you just wear this.

Hey WA, you might be able to match one of these harnesses to your PFD
