Gentlemen (and the occasional lady), I have experienced only this Friday, a first world problem that has me seething with anger. Literally frothing at the mouth. First world problem I know, but nevertheless it represents a much greater issue.

Here is the view some Deadhead, no good leech on society, waste of oxygen Bogan, had standing next to his (you guessed it) beat up commodore.

Notice the large park with nothing on it, except a bright, disco tech, fluorescent North Rebel 2016 10m kite (in perfect 'Nic').

Now here is the stick he threw from this position, with this view (for his dog apparently) straight at the kite, which landed straight onto it. Go figure right?

And as you guessed it, here is the damage to the kite (you can kind of see it above).

or another view... with me showing the moron where the stick had landed after his dog pulled it off the kite.

It was one of the most bizarre incidents.

His intelligent comment "woh man, what's the chances?"

Now please visit the first photo to understand why, at this stage, I felt so sorry for this bottom feeder low life any impulsion to break every tooth in his retarded mouth luckily left me.

To confirm and defuse my earlier want, to smash his pelvis into many separate parts, because someone like this doesn't really need to walk around much for the rest of his life, he then said, "oh man, that's fcked hey, if ya get it fixed, I will try and help you out. I might have some money in a month or so, might even win the lottery".

This is verbatim by the way, I am not indulging what so ever.

It was at that point I realised I was stuffed. This guy had no money and even the unemployment benefits he probably wastes on dope, wouldn't be given to me; because this neanderthal Homo Rectum has no sense of duty or responsibility.

He gave me his number (apparently he didn't have his phone with him - yeeeeehhh right) and of course this number doesn't check out. Took down his number plate so who knows...

Anyhow I was out of luck it seems. I tried to explain to the bacterial slime, who would be helping everyone if he got an inoperable tumour in his spine, that the kite can be fixed, but you've just lost me hundred of dollars! Of course he couldn't quite get that through his bird sized brain and lack of any respectful self worth, so he kept repeating the same thing above.

Anyhow it's with Ryan getting fixed professionally and if anyone wants a great deal on the kite, check the breeze buy and sell.

I know every-time i look at it, even fixed, i will see this dumbfck's stupid face and be seething in anger.

Too many of these oxygen thieves just get away with doing nothing, contributing nothing and avoiding any sense of responsibility for their actions. They suck on the tit of government tax payer debt, while hard working, law abiding people just get bent over and banged up the behind.

It's the bigger picture I'm mad about, not so much the kite.

anyhow hope that was entertaining....grrrrrrrrrr

....... It is entirely foreseeable that kites laying around in parks will come in to contact with other park users. Unlucky if your kite was there for 2 mins prior to you launching, but if your kite is sitting there for 20 mins while you're waiting for the wind, well,... Just saying mate.

Nah mate wasn't like that. There's 400m of park before this, they were walking for this distance through the estuary shallows...they were getting in the car to leave, after walking this distance. Thought he'd throw the stick one last time. There's nothing else around man to distract. Even the old couple on the bench couldn't believe it.

Wasn't waiting, I was hooked in, the lads were walking to launch it.

Sp there were two kites setup as well on the beach to the right, which they would have walked straight past. No other people around apart from us and the old couple. It was a brain fade...or on purpose. Couldn't be anything else. And to give a false number just highlights the low life he was. Don't justify stupidity mate.

to be highly technical the dog should actually be on a leash..but who does that. Nor should they have been parked in that spot as it is a non powered launching site Access.

I'm a teacher man, so in the end there is not much you can do in your suggested approach. We gotta stay squeeky clean unless of course you are catholic priest....don't get me started on that!!

Sharks aint a problem in the estuary man lol. But yeh there's always a sliver lining.

To be honest I'm grateful the guy backed down straight away (he must have seen I was close to losing it), and he was apologetic, kind of in a Forrest Gump way. There was just stupidity behind his eyes.

Ive had no money before, hence another reason I softened. I know what it's like to be at a deadend, but did something about it. Hopefully he will as well.

In the end it's just a bloody kite...hey. But it's worth learning from.

Lesson to all...if we ever see anyone just loitering around for no reason there. If you see anything 'weird' at all, be on guard. On dogs, just don't let them get within 20m of your kite at all times. That's another story ...

on reflection they were acting strange, just walking (three grown men, in their early twenties) knee deep in shallows with no reason or purpose.

Funny thing was my brother stayed out of it, thankfully. He goes from zero to hero in a split second. I could see his eyes starting to dart around, that mad manic look starting. Hence I asked the lads to piss off real quick. my bro didn't buy their story. nor do I.

...and Marno..it was a fair call about the park thing...but it didn't play out like that.

I was was hooked in and actually saw him raise the stick...I shouted out from 20m away, but the dude, well I don't think he was all there to be honest.

I'm assuming that he was on a public beach as well as the kite owner? Which is great for the public to share...

Eppo, is this really your issue for the day/week or just another wa thread that has to be heard by the whole of Australia? It has pumped your thread count up again but you missed the usual pimp of products which is like
.... a bit out of wack for you. Congratulations but please put a product on this thread for all to know. Don't change now mate! At least spinnaker repair cloth tape brand or place to purchase it from..

You have your blinkers on...
Did you put your kite there?
Did you have exclusive rights to that piece of real estate?
Was there a exclusion zone or sign on sheet for entering your exclusive piece of beach with your piece of equipment and yourself?

Get over it buddy!

Get another hobby or join manpower n man up...

I can say that having to do your own repairs n apply spinnaker repair cloth tape is and can be fun. Especially with a wonderful and patient and intuitive teacher and at the end the satisfaction you get from doing it yourself and learning something new and also being able to accept other people's and other animals actions and the consequences of their actions is a gift that most teachers teach their students. Obviously not in your epic classes eppo... teach em to be selfish a holes like you n your, wait for it... next kite repair thread... yawn.. 2x buckets of popcorn!

And what the fck would you know about teaching Flogbag. It was my many years of ACTUAL teaching (that you know nothing about) that allowed me to quickly read this guy and quickly realise he was like a helpless monkey eating his own sh1t. Hence I didn't react. The boys i kite with would have caved his head in and asked questions later.

The point of the post is to warn people to be extremely wary at all times if you see something out of sorts. I was watching these guys strange behaviour for a while but that was to retrospective. not sure what you mean about promoting a product, I ride and comment on gear from all brands, I'm no pimp.

It's only a kite. But ego is a funny thing, makes us do stupid things like road rage. And to be honest I could see he had no money and life was kicking the sh1t out of him at the moment....

Yeh I am so close to giving that foiling stuff a crack. Having that to and fro argument in my head.

Eppo, seriously are you the only person that can read people on this earth? You're taking your kite repair pimp to the next level. And your threats about caving someone's skull in? You obviously aren't headmaster material or a role model. And to belittle someone for advice on your unfortunate dilemma and bully them and show your true colors was enlightening to say the least. Karma will come again and rain down on you hard brother.
Obviously at your school you taught to judge a book by it's cover. Keep up the great work.

P.s. you're a unit mate. Go and toss yourself stupid! It might help you.

Been kiting longer than you have had your head lost space champ
