Got a nice rip in my kite today. Can anyone tell me if this is repairable?
if so, any ideas on where best to get it done?
Am currently based on Gladstone QLD, but can send for repairs.

Gotta hate that..I was down there today about 2:30 and the wind dropped out to about 10 Knots just after I pumped up
I have ripped a kite the same as yours and sent it to motti levi ..he did an excellent job. Cost about 20 bucks postage ..cant remember how much repair was ,about 100bucks I think ..Just Google motti levi kite repairs ..good luck
Everything is fixable, but for this one you will need a fairly skilled and experienced person to fix it.

Here's a tip don't blow your kite up near the local footy club

I had the same kite, 2013 switch blade (green and black colours though) and it sustained identical damage to your kite. was wondering if it would every fly again, sent it to Moti Levy, $200 later got it back and had to search for where the repair was performed (excellent job). Would say it flew perfectly after that, but I bought a new kite instead and sold it for $100 less than what I bought it for
. Long story short, it's definitely repairable.
Yes of course. cost is the thing.
I have done my own like this, the cost is stuffing round to get into the front bladder and u need the rite machine as well.
I had the exact same tear, on the exact same kite repaired when i bought it.Made no difference to flying etc, only really affected resale, but it was perfect for the 2 seasons i used it for!repair would be about 100-150Lindsay Irwin at Irwin Sails in melbourne, i cannot recommend him highly enough!
