Thumbs Up

Hi. Was wondering if anyone could tell me the cause of my leaking kite. Its a 10m blade 08 vertigo. I took it out yesterday and was riding around for a good couple of hours when i noticed that in my haste of getting on the water i failed to clip the strut isolators shut. I crashed the kite for the fifth or sixth time (in the water) not that hard, and it went flat. After about 50meters of swimming to the beach I noticed that one of the tubes that goes to the strut had blown off. I repaired that this morning with some airline that I had lying around the house, thinking all would be sweet I pumped the kite up to notice air leaking from TWO strut valves! Coming through the fabric around where the valve is stitched in. Is this because the pressure increase in the struts when it hit the water because of my failure to isolate the struts ???? Whats the best way to rectify? Can i fix myself or is it best to get it sent away? Any thoughts?

the old valve peeling away from the bladder i suspect. Plenty of info if you do a search. Either stick on valves or glue them back on. Plenty around these parts that have been glued with selleys eurathane bond as long as you do a good job it seems to work.
