Thanks for your concern Cauncy. I've just got back from my yearly pilgrimage to kite buggy the sand dunes,
To put the glory of the place into kitesurfing perspective. Imagine if you got 20 square kilometers of the best kiting surf waves in the world when they are pumping (eg, one eye, cloudbreak, jaws, Nazare) froze the waves solid then dumped them all in one place. You camped in the middle of them and rode them dawn to dusk for 4 days. That's what its like.

OH YEAH!

Fricken fantastic.

Looks closely at the first pic, yourl see a buggier on the steep face!

Read the text again! I said i was riding sand dunes on a kite buggy. There are like riding waves frozen solid!...
I know its hard for kitesurfers to fathom, Believe me its awesome. I good day in the dunes is as good as the best day in the water!

That does look amazing!

What size kites are you using for what wind strength? All foil kites I assume

Here's a vid my buddy did a few years back. It captures the essence of the event.

Kite sizes are about the same as SB riding. So more than foil, less than TT. I just use my inflatables. The non kitesurfing buggiers have open cell foil kites.
