The other day I cracked my board... on water, didn't hit anything or the sand, I landed kind of hard though.
The crack runs along where I've marked in red, and doesn't go through to the other side... but it does move, so it might break off with further use.

What are my options?

Thanks.

That's the first thing I thought about... problem is the board isn't symmetrical.

Santa's never bought me anything over a $100 $50.

Depending on how strong or cosmetically pleasing you want it your options include:
1.Grind around the crack probably an inch either side 2-3mm deep-then fiber glass that area-sand flush and paint (strong)
2.Grind out both sides enough to put fiber glass over and it sand flush (stronger)
3.Step 1 then put fiber glass on the top without grinding it out so there is lots of material left (strongest and less mucking around than 2)
4.BUY A NEW ONE (most pleasing in every way)

Remove the fin (temporarily) closest to the crack . Get one of those coarse grit flap discs you fit to a 5" angle grinder and grind /sand down evenly from each side of the board until the crack edges are feathered (paper thin) . I'd wear a respirator for sure, and at least a pair of safety glasses if not a full face shield. Epoxy on a few strips of 4oz glass cloth each side , let cure and sand down flush with a flat backing pad. That's what I would do , then I would refit the fin. That should hold up I reckon, J

I fixed a stack of boards which have done this . Defiantly do able , sometimes doesn't look too pretty but if you do it right will be strong and you'll get another 2 or 3 seasons out of it.

What if I use it until it breaks off... can it be effectively repaired then?

probably not, as that board has a wood core its realy hard to fix up well any way, I would say bin it, but you can also get some inserts and change the pads around, or just get some sounter sunk stainless steel screws and drill some holes where you want to put the pads

best thing you could do it grind/peel off entire bottom sheet all the glass too, then reglass base using a rocker table vaccum bag. patches introduce stress points - but might work for a while.
