Just for info it has been reported through Cott Boardriders that a car was stolen form the Cove / Seconds car park today in under twenty minutes from when the guys went out for a padle. Apparently there was also a break-in at Cott main car park.
Keep an eye out if you hide your keys in a secret spot (like on your wheel) as obviously there is a couple of sly pricks wandering the car parks. Below is an extract from the club email with the names removed
Today I surfed cove at 11.30am for 20 mins only to come back up with my mate and a last years Cottesloe board riders <name>to find his car had been stolen in the 20 mins since we had left it. It was a recently new Subaru Liberty that from what i hear is not insured (can’t find out for sure now cause his phone was in there). On this very same day Cottesloe Body Boarder <name> has had his car broken into and everything stolen out of it down at Cott.

Oh man! It's spreading like a virus up and down the coast. That car park always felt so safe. Wonder if the resource boom and subsequent house prices, cost of living etc is going to feed a boom of crime as more and more people find it harder to get by...
