Anyone know what the fuss was about?
I'd finished up kiting once the wind swung even more offshore but when I left 2 cars, a boat + a helicopter had turned up.

The Boat went right through us for no apparent reason and then stopped opposite the boat sheds. I was almost under the chopper at one stage. He was only 30M above my kite! They hovered around for about 30 mins. ! think they were just watching us as much we were watching them?
yep first a police boat came, then a plane flew over and dropped a blue ballon. then the helicopter came
someone told me a windsurfer thought he saw a human hand?
i actually did see two fins aswell swimming towards the brighton yacht club on a tack.

There must of been some sick wind coming down from that

They were doing an exercise.
In preperation for the introduction of the new kite licence checks.
It was alleged there was a Kiter wearing boardies over his wetty and they were trying to apprehend him.
