I am currently kiting with a 3/4 plus a summer 2mm underneath. You will no issues.

Bigtone, you must live on the far south coast, cause around the northern part of the south coast a 3/2 is all I have ever needed.

Would happily swap with this Victorian weather!
5/4 wetty with a vest and hood underneath + booties + gloves an even then only an hour in the water and 7 hours beside the heater at home!

Really? 4/3 only down here, with booties but no glooves or hoodie. Works fine unless you are in a river mouth.

My 3/2 needs updating. Sunday was a bit cold. Had to use a hot water bottle and a plunger to put humpty back together again. 3/2 all I need in Sydney even for south coast trips, but cause I use it a fair bit I update every 2 seasons.

While I appreciate your advice Daniel that's not gonna happen . If you do make your own way up here though I 'd be happy to show you around and find you a cheap place to stay Personally I think winter is the best time for water sports up here cause the uv rays drop to tolerable levels the wind is regular and there are no bloody stingers around .
