Hi Peeps,
After reading some of the reviews on the reviews forum, I'm getting pretty tired of people who haven't ridden particular gear making assumptions on how it performs. If you haven't ridden a particular piece of equipment, please keep your uninformed and therefor worthless and biased opinions to yourself. If you haven't ridden it, you have NO VALID OPINION!
If you can't begin a sentence with, "In my experience, after having used this equipment on more than one occasion, my opinion is ............" Then don't begin it at all, this goes for all brands. ![]()
Seems a lot of people seem to feel experienced enough to make comment on anything they feel like by looking at photo's or hearing chinese whispers about something. You don't have to comment on something if you have no first hand experience.
Yes I'm in an angry mood today ![]()

In my experience my opinion is i dont bag other gear. I ride waroos. Apparently they are not that good. Oh well works for me. I'm always keen to read peoples experiences about their gear. To many kites to choose from now.
Its all good kitehard wind is up.
So right Darren! I recon I haven't got a clue until I've had a good 10 hours with a different kite or board.
I was thinking about this the otherday and was wondering why we dont have a demo day's like they have at kitestock somewhere local on a weekend say after most of the new seasons gear has been released where people can try different brands back to back........![]()

totally apprecite where you're coming from dude BUT get with the program!!! This is the internet!!!! the standard bearer for freedom of speech - the contributors to this forum can start their posts with whatever they damn well want dude - that's why they're here - if you want to go somewhere where everyone is told how to start their sentences then go to pre reform USSR dude - doesn't matter if you're fat or thin, dumb or smart, a compliant numbskull or a free radical - in this place everyone is equal and can say what they damn well want!!!!!
we have a demo week (Exmouth Expo) in October where we test as many kites and boards as possible back to back. It takes a week to get through all the gear and thats with wind almost all day on most days, but then we started doing 15 minute runs on each kite and thats when every one really started to learn the difference between kites. Yes it is expensive with the kites devalue but the knowledge gained is invaluable and everyone who did the 15 min on each kite back to back were able to choose there next kite knowing it was there favourite kite. They finally had a knowledgeable reason for liking or not liking particular kites and boards.
Most of the local dealers in Bris have demo days if not all of them where u can try any board or kite they have to offer. I just ordered a new board after using a demo for the week end, got to now how it rides after 3 days and bought one. I did the same with my kite, Tried as many as i could till i found one i enjoyed riding. Dont all kite shops do this?.
I think good on you KH for your comment. No one wants to read some nobs opinion on gear they have no idea about.
