I'm taking a 7m Rev & 11m Ozone Instinct. Was tossing up whether to take a 9m Rev instead of 7. I have only used the 7m where i live once or twice.

All you need is 2 kites 1 board couple pairs of boardies couple pairs of shorts couple shirts and that's it. If your clothing doesn't fit in a back pack your taking too much!

And lots of sunscreen (longsleave rash guards help as well).

Hey Breezy! Yep it's me :) Jen emailed me today. SWEET.

I'm tossing up whether to take a 7 & 9 rev or a 7 & 11. Probably wont take the 11.

Hey Ezza,
take your 7 and 11 mtr rev's. You won't miss out on the lighter days then. Make sure you have some booties, they are an essential. Ouchy bits of coral everywhere.
Believe me when i say this, you'll need rest days because you've kited so much. Cocos has the best and safest down winder around. ENJOY (very jealous).

Hey Loco,
If your into waves you're going to the right place, f#*ken huge. Last time i was there i watched Mike Walker and Hally go at it like pro's. The only thing that slowed them down were there HUGE (blue vein) BALLS HANGING out the side's of there board shorts and dragging in the water. Amazing to watch.

Cheers guys, I think I'm getting withdrawals.

You're going to love every moment of it.

yeh guys - awesome trip - went last year! Jen & Mike have it all down pat! Take a wide range of kites in your kit if you can - there can be light wind days... saying that - in the 14 days we were there we only sat on our bums for 2 days... ENJOY!

Wonder if that was the tour I was on - though I remember a lot of drinking those 2 days .

If you do get a day off the diving was worth it (for me atleast) - watched a Dugong and a Manta Ray play tag.

Ha ha Burley - Huge blue veined balls eh? I think youre getting confused with Hally at Sandy Point when he took the pointy end of a sailboard in his groin at full speed. That WAS his testicle hanging out of his nutsack! and it was too covered in blood to look blue.

Yeah there's some sweet wave riding there but its very difficult access. and not really advisable unless the wind is coming in cross-onshore. if **** happens and you blow away - the next stop is with Davey Crockett and the Black Pearl.

There is really good surfing (without a kite) too. check out Jelte's video on you tube to get an idea.

I'm soooo looking forward to this year - cant wait to meet everyone. Oh yeah and kite everyday!

7m and 11 is a good combo if your under 75kegs. otherwise a 9 and 13ish.

Shodan,
Just got my tickets and info from Island Bound Tours, there is enough in there to give you a good idea of what to expect non kiting wise. I have spoken to a few people who have been and there are prior posts you can look at but i am expecting my 12m to be good for most days (wish i had a 9m as well) will see you on the water.
