Just wanting to meet some other new female kiters in Perth, WA. Am keen to go out kiting on weekends & it would be nice to meet some other chickies with the same idea. Where do other females in this sport hang out??

A bit late for this one and the wind didn't co-operate, but Knickers has started to have regular get togethers for the WA Chick Kiters (WACK), I think the next one is in early January so just check these forums for an update on time and place or send her an email.

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up! I will send an email & hopefully get down for the January one. It is fantastic to see the girls getting together giving each other some encouragement. I don't know too many people here in WA. This is surely my dream group! Kiting & friends!

Hey WACKsters!

I know this post was back in Dec but am keen to get to know some female kite surfers for pretty much the same thing - i.e. a good crew of chicks to go out surfing with and maybe a wind down beer afterwards!

Are you all still catching up and kiting? I've only just got my kite and had a couple of lessons 6 months ago - so am a bit rusty but managed to get out on Sat arvo on the river at the weekend (Pelican Point) and got kite set up and out for a short body drag sesh - ended up being a bit too windy for me so headed back in. P point is also soooooo crowded with kiters and wind surfers - are there other spots you guys go to? Pinnaroo Point, Leighton, Trigg or other parts of the river?

Anyway hopefully will get out kiting with you sometime soon!
Cheers
Tam
