Noice - the 'Hanable Lector' image of kiteboarding!! Hey but nice to see Aldi catering for the mainstream sports finally!!

Now I don't kite but so many questions...
Why is the dude in snowboard gear? Is moccasins and yellow rain pants the new "boardies over wettie" look?

Are their measurements off? the rolled up bag is like 6ft high?

Why does anyone need to kite in a gimp mask? Unless trying to look like a wanna be bikie with his skull bandana, or a neoprene version of a S&M dungeon master

But most importantly, why buy the cheap OS stuff when aussie companies make superior stuff, will deliver, and are site sponsors here so u can get an answer to an electronic mail thingy here in an hour? Not mentioning names Flying Objects

I'm guessing you didnt see the price, lol.
You couldnt even buy a backpack from a surf shop for that sort of money.
I'm a big believer of 'the poor man pays twice theory', but at that money what the heck.
If it lasts one trip, well not to worry.
I know people that buy the specials from ALDI and they rave on the quality v price.

The "Crofton" range of cookware is awesome, cheap and still looks brand new and we've been using it for years.

If you look on whingepool they have an Aldi specials thread where people discuss their specials and if the quality is good or not.

Got a cyclonic vacuum from ALDI for $45 last year, still going strong. There are some good deals at ALDI.

IMHO that bag would suck balls to drag kite gear around in. How long is your board? If that bag is anything like my Dakine Double ski bag it'll fold in half if you try to drag it around without something solid running the length of it.

Also those masks, wouldn't that be just like water boarding (torture) yourself? You'd be a big loser wearing them on the slopes and even bigger loser wearing them off.

Also those masks,

The mask was a joke. Hence the tongue in cheek wink ;)
It could possibly suffocate you in the water, so it wouldn't be wise to wear a mask.

saw this guy wearing a bandana, surprised he can breath:

Snowboard bags are too skinny and not thick enough to serve as a kite bag. My snowboard bag (Dakine) is just thick enough to pack my board with the bindings still on and boots laying down on their sides. Plus a bit of space between the bindings for my Goretex. I once fit a 5m land kite in that space, but it was a squash.

It's also about 60 cm too long. Your board gives the bag its rigidity - if the board doesn't fit the whole length it bends where the board ends and it's a right prick to pull around!

Snow board bags do the job. Plenty of room and no longer than a twinny
