Thumbs Up

I've got a trip to America coming up and will be spending a few days in Charleston, South Carolina. From Googling I see there's potential there, but it appears hard to get a good idea of the Kite capacity in the area in September.

Am wondering if anyone has ever kited there or have local knowledge around:
Chance of wind at that time of year and avg wind speeds (early Sep - staying in Charleston)
Availability of rental gear and quality (have too many stops to make bringing my gear plausible)
Best kite spots near Charleston (will have rental car)
Any other info

charleston can be great if you get sea breeze that time of year.

kiting is awesome from sullivans island. check out the Facebook group 28.5 wind report www.facebook.com/groups/charlestonmoose/

check out catch some air for gear rental catchsomeair.us
