can i fit a dynabar to this harness?
the (what do you call it?) Strap that runs accross the back of my Ion hummer snapped off the other day, so instead of throwing it out i thought i may convert it to a surf harness.

Have you tried emailing Jay directly or their distributer where you are? They're usually pretty quick to reply, and if all else fails you can get in contact on kiteforum.
Yes, it will fit as is now but you will just have to thread side of the webbing through each time. Or you can get a harness clip that will fit to make things a little easier.
Yep I've got a dynabar on my hummer. Just need the hook clip part to add to the male side. Pain in the ass to thread strap through all the time. If you've got an old hook lying around (and it fits) use it. You can also buy the dynabar hook separately. Or if that way inclined can make you're own.
I have attached a dynabar to my old ION harness - threading both sides straight on to spreader bar - works fine.
Just beware that some dynabar spreader bars are much longer than the ION one you are replacing so you may not be able to tighten it as much as you'd like.
I've done it just get a dakine harness (i used an old wind surf one) clip and put it on one end works great
