CKC is hosting a BBQ at Happy Valley (near the coffee van) at 4pm this Sunday January 9.

AKSA (SEQKA) will provide some funds for sausages and beverages. Bring your tags or cards to get your free stuff!

This BBQ is open to members of CKC Social Club, any AKSA members and anyone interested in joining CKC.

During the BBQ we will be asking for nominations for a management committee so that incorporation (under the QLD Office of Fair Trading rules) can be applied for and affiliation with AKSA and QKSA can be attained. If you feel you can donate some time and energy to the club, please nominate yourself!!

All local AKSA members are automatically members of CKC (Inc) and membership is attained by joining AKSA via the AKSA.com.au website.

Becoming an official club opens some opportunities for local events (comps, races etc) and also allows us to apply for funding and/or grants from local councils and businesses.

Please come down and meet the local kiters. This club is not associated with any commercial business and exists primarily for local kitesurfers to enjoy social occasions, maintain access to our local beaches and provide our sport with an identity so that we can have input into any plans for public space that may affect us.

If you have any questions or comments, please ask here or send me a PM.

I have sent texts and fb messages to existing members. Please ask your kitesurfing buddies to come.
