Hi I've never owned a cabrinha kite buying one with out a bar just wondering if all other bars work with cabrinha kites
no they dont. there is a list on the cabrinha website which tells you which bar is compatible with which kite.
I think if the kite year is 2009-13 then you need a specific IDS type bar as they bridles are set up for a high Y on the centre lines.
But realistically if the bar is four lines of even length (you can switch pigtails if needed), has a single line flagout safety then you're probably OK. It's probably more important that the bar has a working flagout safety system. In other words use a recent year bar.
Cabrinha kites don't even work with Cabrinha bars

Any four line bar with equal line lengths will fly most Cabrinha kites. This subject has been covered numerous times. But as a previous person said, use a more modern bar with a good flag out system. As far as high vs low Y goes. Take it with a pinch of salt; if you are a relatively conservative kiter (ie 95% of us). With line extensions any high Y becomes a lower Y and the kite still flies fine.

As previous person said. I didn't think about line extensions. But then again I don't live in WA,
