The whole setup is only 2 months old..

Very rare issue Scottyyoung, I had never heard of that problem before, ever? Must have been a scare when it happened?? Hope you were Ok and not hurt at all?
The overide clip retainer, yeah have seen some crack, mostly because the screws are not fully seated on one side, easy fix though and we replace them for free while you wait if it happens. I'm positive the centre line will be replaced fast under warranty too, it should never break, and that design has been in use for 3 seasons nearly now too.
Otherwise, warranty issues on Cab CB/SB/Contra/Revolver/Convert bars are virtually zero at our stores.

The depower line and quick release were replaced today.. Thanks to my local shop..had a look at qr again today and the metal had slight corrision on it so it must have been cracked previous to breakage.. never used the QR ever except the first day i got the kite.. Had previous crossbow with same setup no problems what so ever..
Despite that, the sb3 range is such a sweet kite..And the low end is unreal.. My 16m crossbow still is sitting in the corner not getting used..
I ride all cab gear now.. And happy as..kite build quality is A1..
Scotty,
I have an SB2 and my override clip cracked very early in the piece as well. I have been trying to get a replacement but have not been successful to date.
Steve, you say that you replace them for your customers. Is it a warranty thing that they (Cabrinha) have recognised or just something you are doing? Also, looking more closely at it just the other day actually and it looks like there could be a bit of mucking around to replace it in any case. Would that be right?
Cheers,
Fozzy
Go and see the guys at Onboard, or contact whoever sold you the kite. The part cost is minimal, some shops will charge some don't.
Its not normally a warranty thing its just good service and customer PR for us.
The only hassle that someone not familiar with knots might have is undoing and re-tying the centre line to the trim strap. Otherwise its pretty simple to change. Pretty sure there is a spare one in the bar bag or spare parts pack??

Talk to the shop, they should help you sort it out, warranty or otherwise.

On the subject of Cabs. I have a SB2 14m. The trim strap does not allow me to power up, only depower and neutral. The strap used to work fine. I have played around with it but to no avail. Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Matt
sometimes they depower strap twists inside the cleat make sure it is straight and there is nothing in there
I have been flying the SB1s, SB2s and the SB3s and haven't had a problem with them. Especially the SB2s and SB3s have been under constant use for the last 1.5 years (kiting 5 out 7 days per week).
Maybe I'm not agressive enough ![]()
