Much the same as previous models, but it's not fixed (ie: has no screw) - it's a sliding mechanism ... I haven't got mine yet, so don't know how much slide there is ... maybe it relies on how tight you adjust the tension ring...
Seems like the XBow's are going to go well next season Steve ... the SBlades more popular last year ... the XBow's might well topple the SBlades
Yep I agree.
Rode the 13M tonight, I like, its right up there for performance, with exceptional wind range I was out today between 2 and 4pm, maybe a bit later.
Check the graphs it was 14/15 to 20-22 knots, with tidal assist.
I was very comfortable on it riding an FLX 1.32, was getting some excellent height jumps, with very good hang and glide, reacts like a smaller kite.
Must remember to fit the stopper sleeve, not the factory one, its not here yet, but its easy to make one from last years sleeve minus the screws.

Interesting ... for the light winds over here I usually go for a 16mtr and 12mtr, but might go for the Xbow IDS in 16mtr (glad they brought 'em back) and instead of a 12mtr SB IDS, the 13mtr Xbow - the 13 mtr might just provide that extra bit of grunt this year...
Still got the FLX 132 I got off you - good boards ... but also been having a lotta fun on these OceanRodeo Mako 150 wides !
By the way have you got any Nitrous shorts in stock yet ? (my ol' pair might not make it thru another season !)
cheers.
Hey Steve, what do you recommend to replace CB2 12m, 85kgs for 12-20 knots, the SB IDS 12m or the CB IDS 13m?? not into the unhooked stuff if that makes a difference to your opinion??
Thanks,
Andrew
G'day Andrew
The 13M CB IDS is as fast as a SB2 12M, but turns better. 12-20 definitely the 13M
