Hi Everyone!

Long time no see, I hope you're all having awesome sessions.
I had to share with you my latest "kitesurfing idea come true". It's been fully thought by and made for kitesurfers, it's fun, it's practical, accurate, it's updated in real time and even better: it's FREE.

Check out the "Cruise availability" page on www.kitesurfarisxm.com
Have fun -and see you soon! -

Windy Regards

Now how do you make Central America a little closer?

taking an airplane is generally the easiest option...
:)
We had a few Aussies coming over this year. It's not more expensive than flying to Indo. -And there are bloody SICK waves too.... (and I won't say where that is even under torture....)-

Not joking -timing is everything (it is all up to when and to where)-, but not there to argue over airlines prices...
It's just a matter of fact Aussies do come on this side of the globe TOO, and FOR THE ONES WHO DO FEEL LIKE HAVING A CARIBBEAN KITESURFING VACATION, the new toy then comes very handy. That is all...

Hi Guys,

One of my instructors got an airfare return to Bali for $300 just the other day. That's cheaper than flying to Exmouth.

Central America is extremely expensive from here.

I got $190 return to bali last year.

and to top it off they charged my credit card in indonesian rupiah instead of AUD so it ended up costing me about 1c + $4 currency conversion fee.

LOL
Slida, pimping involves money making.
I created this website solely to help kiters booking a trip more easily. I came to realize no one was gathering everybody's datas, which made it way trickier and time consuming for kitesurfers to find a suitable kitesurfing cruise....
I actually took out of my private time (and money) to build this site, having no benefit whatsoever out of it.
Not everyone is money hungry, and sometimes people do things solely for the benefit of kitesurfers (amazing isn't it....)

You guys were quick to bag Em's cool website idea.

Sometimes good ideas are contagious. Maybe someone will set up a site like that for Indo kite specific holidays??

Good idea Em. The site is a little busy for my eyes at the moment. Maybe loose the wavey pattern on the sides? Simple is better. Monosimplistic design is the fasion in design these days.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the constructive feedback Echo

We're aware of what you mentioned (simple is better: absolutely correct) and the site's layout is being fully re-done as we speak: it will be all updated in couple of weeks, and a lot more functions will be added (cruises videos, kitesurfing spots, more search criterias on the search engine, and a lot more surprises).
We're taking all feedbacks in consideration, and constructive criticism is a wonderful way to help us improve the "toy" so that it works better for its users: Cheers

Em

PS: Just to stir it up (can't resist )... there are no Tsunamis in the Caribbean....

Agreed with Echos comments, but graphics just one of the components (Kiwis and Aussies are the best for graphic creativity)....focus on the data base and user friendliness though....it is all about the back end. Use the French to make it sexy, the Aussies and Kiwis for cool graphics, Euros & Yanks for user friendliness, Asians for the data base, and Indians to make it work.

Hi Em,

I think your website is a great idea, but realistically the aussie and kiwi market are much more likely to travel to the plethora of fantastic tropical kiting paradises in our own backyard, rather than on the other side of the world. I think your website will be much more useful for the yanks and euros.

Maybe you could think about including a section on the south pacific and south east asia. That would certainly create interest over here.

cheers for all of the feedbacks
Bennie, the US and EURO market have been on the dot for couple of years already. But as we know, French are a pain in the neck (...) and Americans not quite as fun... as Aussies!!!
Posted on SB because I am HIGHLY nostalgic of the years spent in Oz, I have lots of friends that I miss there. Aussies are still my favourite customers of all (we had amazing characters coming over this year: if only all of our visitors were as cool as you guys can be!), and even if the Caribbean will only ever attract very few of you, it will be a real pleasure to get to share this watersports heaven with the ones daring enough to come this way...

One thing at the time....

PS: the graphics are under work toddws -apology for the visual offense: we're kitesurfers... (we had to improvise ourselves "web designers" for the sake of the project... but we're not) - and I just LOVE your comment Gruezi, so TRUE, all the way!!!

I had to post this especially for you because I'm GENUINELY interested on knowing what the dinosaur looks like now.
Like you guys do with the new gear each season, you got to see the website before the European market: I was actually waiting for the current version to start sharing the link on the northern hemisphere...
Now according that you guys got the "privilege" of seeing the old site... I really would like to know what you think about the new skin...

www.kitesurfarisxm.com
ps: Gruezi, I know you will smile when looking at it! (try a lucky guess on what nationality did what there!) And Bennie, we heard you: give us until the end of 2011...

the new skin is gayer than man on man sex.

I laughed at the pic on the destination page so much I booked a trip and got some sick barrels.

Feel free to use the photo on your next try.

Actually our web site is been there for 10 years! If you look for it you will find it...
We offer services specialized to Kiters coming to Bali and Indo.
Maybe the look is not flashy as the one from Em but offer all is needed.
Bye Jankie
