How does the 2nd hand market work? I'm looking to get a new kite for the upcoming season (probably 08' 9 meter REV or something similar) but is it better to be looking now or wait for the season to kick off? Will there be more kites around just before the 09' kites start to come out or will everyone be looking by then?

i sold an 07 and bought an 08 last week thru sea breeze and was happy with both deals. Its hard to say. 08 gear might get a tiny bit cheaper as you wait.. but im already getting some awesome sessions on my new gear while u are thinking about buying... good luck.
i recently up dated my 07 xbow2 to a rev 13m and saved $450 off new price. they will need the space in the shops for all the 09 gear so ask for the best price you`ll be pleasantly surprised.
