Hi,

Just upgraded the Kitesurfing Buy & Sell with a funky new sidebar filter, which is making it really easy to filter the results, and find what you want.

The Boards category has also been split up into:
- Twin Tips
- Surfboards
- Raceboards

Plenty of bargains to be had in there from both shops & private .. check it out...

www.seabreeze.com.au/Classifieds/Browse/Kitesurfing/Kites/?search=0cZFPRBE5LigGg01lD4DLQ==

It's been in test for a whiles & feedback has been great, but should you find any errors, or have suggestions, write here, or via the Contact link at the bottom of the page...
Enjoy ..

Nice, looks awesome.

Suggestion: Can the shop from Pallarenda QLD please stop posting items for sale with a listed price of $0? It keeps happening and I get too excited seeing Ronix Boots for free.

Just had a quick look and discovered when I click on 'email seller' the link takes me back to the buy and sell search page.

also when you click on 'gallery' view in your search results the categories down the side end up right down the bottom of the page instead of staying on the side.

cheers,
will

Hi Willy .. thanks for the feedback. Could be your browser; has been tested with Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE .. but there are some older versions which may misbehave.

I've PM'd you to discuss further..

I would also like to see a filter for postcode... Eg. Items within 100km of my postcode.

If I search for items in QLD, I may as well be shipping from Perth!

Or does it already do this and I am none the wiser?

Hey Laurie,
not buy and sell but a suggestion

Often people jump on to ask questions, it would be really nice to be able to create polls.

eg:

Are you using the 'rich text' editor, as Multi quoting seems to work ok .. either copy & paste, or scroll to a 2nd post you want to quote, and click the 'quote' button again .. is that what you mean?

Devil horns : I see what you mean .. shall fix.

Thumbs .. Gotta give greens to earn reds.

Thanks... I feel at ease now...

I wonder if a hover thread preview could be incorporated with the current forum software.
You know, hold the mouse over the thread title and it gives you a preview of the threads first few sentences...

That's a good feature I think.
Thanks for doing such a stellar job on the forums mate!

I think shops should have to keep their ads in the "Shop Specials" section, and leave the "Kites", "Twintips", etc etc sections for private sellers. It's a little lame seeing page after page of ads from the same shop, drowning out good private bargains.

That might help explain the lack of buyers. Not much interest for a kite you have never heard of, never flown and don't know anyone who has...
They may/may not be good, but to most people they will be unknown.

Hey Laurie, is the 'viewed' counter on the buy and sell ads accurate? Just noticed I have a not so old ad that has been viewed over 21,000 times. Is that a record. Do the ads come up on google searches or something for that kind of traffic..... Or is it the population of Nigeria
