That shot you lost your board in, did you hear the theme song from jaws?

Longreef is a breeding ground for sharks, I heard my heart thumping and was very keen to get back to my board. When was the last shark attack in Sydney?
I havent seen any sharks yet, hope to get one on camera.

nice phots and looks like a great kite spot.

what's with all that green algae? is that normal or a result of some man made pollution?

The green stuff is the sea weed, nice and soft. Check out the google map and you will see the green spot. My camera was set to 2 meters focus, so I will set it to infinity, I hope to get some better shots today

How does the camera work exactly? Do you have controls down by the bar?

I gather you launch at fishies and kite around?

Don't worry about me droping in

I just had shoulder recon and I'm looking at doing the other one in March

Only 13-17 knots?

It was hitting 30 out at Kurnell yesterday afternoon. Great fun in the flatwater with me and a mate the only ones out

Flat water is gay, real men kite in waves with sharks and drink latte, Mexicans (Kurnelians) kite in toxic flat water and have air craft fuel dumped on there heads.

But it does suck that you guys get all the wind you bastards. At least we don't have to kite in petrochemicals.

You'll have to deal with the KKK if you bring your mates out. Rick is one angry bastard You can only bring a mate if he's guaranteed to put on a show, like slamming into the rock groyne or something similarly as funny.

I swap between photos & movies all the time, and haven't found much needed to be changed for video.

Obviously the video is upside at times, and if you have the patience, video packages like Vegas & Premier have a 'rotate' feature where you can keyframe your recording and re-render the video so it comes out the right way up & is stable.

Haven't done a whole video yet, as it looks kinda neat kitesurfing upsidedown with water for a sky.

Ah what a day, I went out to butterbox again today, I nearly ran over a 6ft hammer head, I just missed its head by about 30cm on my surf board. I saw another 3 kiters go around, 1 made it back, the other 2 washed in down at dee why.

Yes, bring more people, every new person reduces my chance of being eaten by a good percentage. :)
