Hey! I need some advice..

Moving to Broome later this week but still not sure what size kite to take (I'm 53kg).. Are the wind strength averages pretty constant or do they change throughout the year? Any other advice, please feel free to share

Cheers, Jeralyn.

I'm about 70 kgs and I used the 15 most of the time and the 9 occasionally in the winter. Not the windiest place around but great when it does get wind.

Hi,

Ive been to Broome a few times. It can be a fun place to kite. Mostly in the dry season you can can get nice wind at town beach. I have kited at cable beach swell, but you won't need anything smaller than a 10. A 12 would prob be the kite of choice for up there.

Enjoy...

be mindful of the tide. 10 metre variations are common on a spring tide, and even on a neap it can be 5 metres.

I am 78kgs And ride a 14 mtr switchblade for most of the wet season, and a 9 or 10 in the dry season, you would probably get away with smaller kites judging the weight difference,
See you at the beach!!!!
