All of you that are interested in the SIGMA series from Naish, Official release date is July 15th (Sunday). I suggest subscribing to Naish E-News if you want to get it first. It will most likely come early Monday morning for us (southern hemisphere issues). The Sigma series is a real revolution in kiting. It's funny how poeple are judging the SIGMA kites without even seeing or flying them, so typical of this forum, people should maybe try not to judge kites until they fly it!

Regards,

JB

You are judging them and talking them up without flying one!

I dont pretend to know how they fly, nor care if they are a C or an SLE, but they are just the far kn ugliest kite series...graceful flowing curves....not

If the torch was the kite of the year in 06, i'm sure naish will double up with the ugliest kite by far this year, that is unless someone can get a 5line 12m garbage bag to fly.
Cant wait to see how they fly, or if its just marketing hype..unlike kite companies of course!!, Or see how they last, there must be some strain on those LE seams....I guess time will tell, feel sorry for those people that shell out hard earned $$ if it turns out to be a lemon...and that has never happened in the past

All for exploring new designs / shapes / etc..... however there is always aesthetic qualities to remember....(of course IMO)

User JB has flown them in Maui so I think he knows what his talking about.

Steve thats a good question as you know I am not a fan of bridled kites and seeing bridles on them has put me off a little, but Naish still have the 08 torch and if its slighty better than the 07 then thats what I will be on, if not and the Sigma series of kites is a flop then it might be time to change brands.

I am not sure if the 5 line set up has a bridle on the sigma series.

Come Monday all will be revealed.
Like I said put that quiver of SB3 away for me as I could become a Cabrinha bow pimp.
