It is no secret that I like to wear skins in summer.

Just went around the world on plane and brought skins along. Thought I would wear them from LA to Bris. and wear short over top...would look too corny so I went wearing chinos.....however, at the airport......there was a guy travelling wearing exactly what I was thinking...........boardies over skins with snucks. Recon, next long flight that's the way.

Just love them skins, finally a man can get away with wearing stockings..........

Are you chasing someone to agree with you.....?

You might be waiting a while, the majority of guys on here are still trying to come to terms with shorts over wetties!

I wear thermals under my shorts all the time (habit devolped from my canyoning days). Keeps your nackers warm in winter. My wife calls them my wheres wally pants. Dude seriously, who cares what people think. If someone doesn't like you for what you are wearing they aren't worth knowing in the first place.

If we are all confessing then i am happy to admit that sometimes in summer i wear undies under my boardies, I know this is extreme and that I have opened myself up to ridicule but that is what i do, please go easy on me.

i still don't understand; which sport do you need to wear tights for? and why would you be wearing them on a plane?

Skins™ BioAcceleration Technology™ has been developed over years of scientific research. Ongoing testing of elite athletes have proven that Skins™ BioAcceleration Technology™ creates marked improvements in reducing the build-up of lactic acid immediately after periods of sustained exercise (2hrs and 15 mins up to 37% ), and allows for more rapid return to normal levels (up to 38% at 20 minutes). You experience less fatigue, minimise soreness and recover faster.

Skins™ is body-moulded compression performance equipment manufactured from the finest Lycra and Meryl Microfibre, scientifically engineered to provide support and muscle alignment to the smart-fabric covered area of your body. Skins™ will definitely change the way that you train and play as well as speed your recovery. You will feel fresher after heavy bouts of exercise and delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) will be minimised.

well i guess there is always money to be made from the gullible. and it sounds like someone has made a packet from convincing people to wear "scientifically engineered body moulded compression performance equipment" (once known as lycra tights).
do you need to drink electrolyte enriched non-carbonated performance boosting endurance fluid with essential vitamins, to gain the most from these tights?

No just a sizable packet.

I wear full length skins when training and the shorts when playing footy. They definitely help reduce delayed onset soreness, and also the amount of power you can get out of your legs towards the end of a game is greatly improved by wearing skins.

I've heard that wearing compression shorts/longs can help reduce the development of deep vein thrombosis, so whenever I get on a flight, I wear my skins, but usually under a pair of jeans or slacks.

I think Aussies are a bit different to the rest of the world: Straightforward, no bull****, and quite likely to take the piss. If you're wearing anything on the water that looks like it's trying too hard or a bit "style over substance," you're probably setting yourself up.
