Are there a set of standard mounting bolt distances for footpads and kiteboards?

Just bought a new pair of pads/straps (Liquid Force), and the bolt holes on the mounting plates don't fit my board (Cardboard) bolt holes.

Are there a standard set of mounting centres?

Why don't manufacturers state what the bolt centres distance is?

How do I know which pads fit which board?

There is no standard, you can cut the plate with a knife or drill a hole into the plate to make the new stuff fit

Okay, thanks for the response. I'll look at about trying that. Worried it'll weaken the plate.
