I had an airush stollen which appeared for sale on seabreaze.
Police said they werent interested even though ihad full proof as the owner,had guys name,address and phone number.
Best idea is to put it on owe AAMI house insurance for lost or stollen with $100 excess.

Had a couple of buddies in Oz who had their motorbikes. The ex-owners were told to have an ask around in the neighborhood for eyewitnesses. After some spluttered indignities, the police then offered to put a fingerprint kit in the post but wouldn't commit to running the results
