Hey Guys,
Will this ding affect the board's performance ? if yes, what is the best way to fix it?
Here are some photos:
Thank you!

Put a bit of stiff plastic over it (like the stuff used as a "window" in kids toys ) and let it overlap the edge a bit. Reason: resin won't stick to it.
Then a piece of wood about 10cm square on each side.
Clamp it all together just enough to get that bit of outer skin flat again.
Now put it up on edge and fill hole with epoxy. A proper laminating resin, not araldite or similar glues as they are not designed for constant immersion.
When cured pull all your clamping material off and sand excess edge off.
Piece of cake and about $1 of material cost. Trouble is buying the resin so find somebody who has done it before, or maybe order a sample kit from Boatcraft Pacific, they are the only ones I can think of who do small (about 150mL) kits, anything else is about 500mL minimum.
I left mine on the roof of my car and it fell off and I had a lot of those dings on one side, I just gave it a good sand and I can't really notice a difference.
sand it to remove the chunky stuff.
Looks like it's on the toe side edge
You're never gonna notice that affecting performance!
Had a very similar one on an old xride, I used a g clamp with a small metal plate, then gradually wound some pressure
Into it, then a light sand back, still had a bit of a mark but massively better than ding, won't affect performance, but it'll give you the craps doing rail grabs left as is
