Hi,
This is a big THANK YOU to Shaun/Sean/Shawn and your mates for effecting such an awesome rescue of yours truly at Melville Waters on Saturday afternoon.

I'm still not exactly sure what happened and how I unintentionally flagged my kite. I rememeber getting to the end of my out-run and since I do not yet know how to do a smooth stylish tack, I lay back down to start my in-bound run when the edge of my board managed to dislodge/pull my safety. The fact that it's a new kite does not excuse my lack of knowledge on where to find the self-rescue handles on it.

Anyway, the swim to shore gave me time to reflect and ensure I brush up on that skill.

Mate, I'd like to compensate your effort by the provision of your choice of beer. Please PM me so I can arrange delivery.

Nice work, and appropriately rewarded... :-)

Always the way though, why is it things alwas go pear shaped way out the back?
