Dear Forum, relocating from Gold Coast to Perth city due to work.
Keen surfer with kite love (newby).
Where too live (rent).
Northern city beaches ?
Applecross area ?
Rockingham area ?
My research so far more surf (winter) and more wind southern beaches.
cheers

Anything near the coast costs heaps more, maybe look at Baldivis, its a new suburb, right next to the freeway and only 10 min drive to the ocean. Also near a train line into the city.

Houses are pretty cheap, im sure people would be renting them out.

Overall surf is pretty crap in Perth but if you want our average waves, you can go City beach, Scarborough, Trigg or North beach for the northern suburbs or Secret harbour if you don't mind living in Rockingham.

yeah scarbs. surf (not amazing but there). Kiting beach.

Great social life. Easy to make new friends as long as you can handle the fact that it's 80% male population.

You should try live where you can walk everywhere. pub, shop, beach, bottle shop.

This place is bliss
