Very nice. Good flying (piloting) skills, I could see how easy it would be to wrap it in someones lines if you were a little careless. Love to see more of this type of perspective.
So I presume that it is all filmed blind it that the guy flying the remote doesn't actually see what he is videoing, impressive keen to get one
Has there been any recorded quadcopter/kite impact recorded, I wonder? I'm pretty sure I'd be back to shore looking for the guy with the controller as quick as I could!

Nah given the quality of the footage, plus the mention of fpv in the outro, it's almost a certainty that this guy was wearing goggles to see what the drone could see. Possibly even head tracking or a second person to control the camera separately to the drone flight.
It's a fairly advanced although increasingly accessible level of RC kit according to my mates in the hobby.

Not filmed blind.
Fly it using 'goggles' which is like sitting in the quad.
Camera and quad control can be independent which takes a bit of skill.
The guy in the video is flying a very similar setup to what I'm using here in Sydney. It's full FPV and he's flying via either a TV screen or goggles with inbuilt screens. He sees exactly what the copter sees from the sky. Works well in up to 25 knots or so. I'm sure you guys have already seen it, but here is a video I posted a few months back:
