Hello, looking at buying my first kite. What are some good models for beginners that are available in a 10m model?

If anyone is selling any of these beginner kites please send me a message so we can organise something.

Thanks, Jukesy

Plenty brands be fine noise, reo, park, rally ask your instructer prob best to stay away from full c kite but then I started on a old fuel no probs relaunch was **** and never really moved forward till I got a rebel I've rode a few diff brands but u really don't notice much till late in the beginner faze so don't stress get one and get out there

Look at getting a Ozone edge or Cabrinha velocity, these are the best types of kite when learning.

The edge is not really a beginner kte! See heaps of newbies on Cab Switchblades or Ozone Catalysts on Dolls Point.

Aren't switchblades quite pricey though?

You will progress quickest and have most fjn with a delta/hybrid style kite. Look at any of the following :

Liquid Force Envy
North Evo
Cabrinha Switchblade
Slingshot RPM
Naish Park

All good kites and anything from 2013 onwards will be great.

I am reasonably new and have an Ozone Catalyst. Great kite in my opinion. Easy to handle, heaps of de-power and straightforward to re-launch. Most importantly it's forgiving in the hands of a novice.

Now I am up and going on the board it's easy to fly and is great fun.

I would recommend it for a newbie.

There is definitely lots of beginner friendly stuff out there (e.g. Fone Bandit). But maybe you wanna stick with brands which are most common in your area, just in case you need help/advice, replacement parts or repairs.

Yep will be fine... but its a few years old. make sure you pump it up hard and let it sit for awhile in case it leaks.
Check all the lines and attachments for wear.
Best if you've an experienced mate who can check it.
Remember if its cheap will probably be for a good reason. Breakages wont be fun....
