Been a while since I saw you up here Hook, too cold and rainy last time?

The NE seabreezes are just showing signs of returning now, it's been a long crappy winter. Look for NE and SE. A good place to start is eeluorB spelled backwards (that might keep me out of trouble)
Best PM me for spots, but the whole south coast is about the same distance from Wagga (kn miles away), check out Gerroa, Lake Conjola and Merimbula/Pambula.

Hi leeds

There are heaps of great kiting spots all along the far south coast.Make sure you come down to Merimbula its a awesome place and has excellent kite spots for both N/E and S/E winds.

I have a some good Merimbula info and pics on my String Monkey School website

see here stringmonkeykiteboarding.homestead.com/testimonials.html

Merimbula is only 2.5 hours from Canberra

If you need any other help of info please drop me an email

Cheers

Pete.

Try igniB, ognoC, Moruya River Mouth (couldn't be bothered spelling that backwards). They are all great spots. I heard that Nelligen river was also a good spot to kite, just look out for the house boats.

There is NOTHING sexier than a man standing on the beach holding the baby while Mum goes kiting. NOTHING. It's the new coffee group. Go "Mr Mum" I say.

just finished my 5th week in wagga with another 8 to go

in the process of changing jobs and have to do the 3 month project management course

its not that bad here (not that great either)

I went down to Tathra, Merimbula and Eden the other weekend (cause perisher was raining with lightning storms) and they looks like awesome spots just a shame i didnt have my kites with me then

i guess when the seabreezes kick in ill be doing a lot of driving

thanks for all the advice guys

is the seabreeze forecast pretty accurate for the south coast?
and where on the BOM website is the best forecast for that area?

The Seabreeze charts are a pretty good guide, usually a slight exaggeration and tend to reflect how it blows offshore a bit, but generally the best thing we've got.
BOM - Coastal Waters forecast - www.bom.gov.au/nsw/forecasts/coastalwaters.shtml
Coastalwatch has a webcam.

Well then Tobes, Pete(*2) and myself will be the hottest things on the beach this summer.

Not Matt though. As if he'd miss a kite session to hold baby...

she's a week overdue, big angry and hostile. The only excitement in my day is escaping the house without being attacked for something/anything.
