It looks close to ideal.

Give it a year or two of development and it might become a universal solution.

You must be the most unlucky guy if this happen to you. Try to keep your kite above the water so you won't catch any ;-)

Kiting where there is seaweed????
Isn't that under water???

Any way these bars are due here for weekend, or at least one I can allocate to demo.

Used this bar at Point Danger Saturday with my 10m Notus3.
Started near fully depowered and over next 2.5hrs wind steadily dropped til kite was fully powered.

The low tide and ENE wind gave dead flat water behind the Mini Tubes reef and some reasonable waves from Super tubes all the way to near Fisho's.

The bar is super simple to use and so clean you keep thinking somethings missing.

The distance you can push bar away is very long and will kill all the power as Bow kites claim to do. the stopper adjuster slides seemingly too easy but holds properly.
The action of depowering is simple and bringing bar in with the action doesn't cause any problem.

As far as sand or seaweed goes, The line would pull through to depower even if the pulley was seized. At any rate the distance you have to push bar away would well cover any emergency depower needed short of ditching to safety.

The new ERA set up is an optional extra and now works when you pull the left line for relaunch. no seperate handle.

The extra clip for stronger stopper hold has to have the safety line threaded through.
the hold the stopper has std. means I will not be bothering with this extra clip.

Have used this new bar for a couple of sessions now and it works great.
Above the bar depower with adjustable travel/throw.
Lines are 20m with extensions thrown in and I prefer to ride 20s anyway.
Bar grip is comfortable and looks durable, only time will tell.
Quick release/safety works well, I trialled the safety features on the beach to get familiar with it.
I like the way you can put the Chicken loop through the double ring safety to give you a suicide style safety which I prefer when riding.
I like the extra resistance/stopper and will be putting mine on permanently, the safety line goes through it so you cant/wont loose it. I trialled it for a session with and without it.
I have the Zeeko Notus 3's with this bar and love the kites and the bar.
The new bar is good, I would like to Demo the new Notus 4 with one
Demo one
You might be pleasantly surprised

I've been using mine for about 3 month now. The depower system is the best I've tried so far. So good not to have the strap dangling around or even sometimes getting jammed....
The only flaw I find is the hard bar end but apart from that I really enjoy using it. It's very simple and easy to use.
