Hi Guys, Have been planning this event for quite a few months. Now its finally happening and all for a good cause! I was really surprised to read the following statistics.
I am now, even more determined to get the message out there!
Around 20,000 new cases of Prostate Cancer are diagnosed every year in Australia. Tragically one man every three hours will lose his battle against this insidious disease. This has effected my family, close friends & the people around me. Sadly this is a disease that is often ignored.
I am doing this to Promote Awareness & Raise Funds. These funds will be used to research the causes, for the treatment of Prostate Cancer & the support of Prostate Cancer victims.
The logistics of the challenge limits the numbers, but if you are keen to be involved, message me! The event is scheduled to occur 9-15 Sep 2013 along with a number of other Island Events including a Charity Golf Day & Island Fish BBQ with proceeds going to the cause.
