Hi all, thinking of kitting again in Sanur this year, last year we stayed in kuta and did day trips.
looking at staying in Sanur this time, were have you guys stayed and what would you suggest, central stay / any were by kite beach .
last year we kited up buy the museum
best time Aug / Sep ?

Best time: June-July-August... September start to die down!
Not sure where is the Museum.... The only one I know is next to the Grand Bali Beach Hotel, the big tower!!
Kite Beach is at the other end of Sanur..
All Sanur is actually pretty ok but the spaces of Kite Beach are unmatched!

I stayed at Puri Santrian last year for a few days
Got some good rates on their web site - up market but very nice if yopu want to live it up a bit.
It is right in front of the rigging area.

straight behind the museum theres a place called the Pollok, i stayed there in
sep for a month. good spot and real cheap. $6 a night. its straight in front of the sunar wave. i didnt kite as wind isnt that strong and i hate big kites, but the surf is good
I'd recommend the accommodation that Jankie manages , Villa Puri Ayu 
Its next door to the Sanur Beach Hotel on the south side. See you in a few weeks Jankie

im going in July for two weeks which kite 9 mtr or 13mtr twiny or surf board ? i can only take one of each i will be doing the day trips from Kuta !
any expectations on wind strength ? 15 knots ? 20 knots ?
take the big kite for sanur
take the surfboard if if you want to kite the surf on the west side
