Hello all,
for the best forecast go to
www.windfinder.com/forecast/kuta?utm_source=www.windfinder.com&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=redirect
usually is spot on 90% of the time.... But not today as there are 15 knots in the beach
and he give no wind!!!
In May we had about 2 weeks of wind then nothing till 6 days ago and now is blowing regularly. You can find the wind statistic in our newly redesigend web site and also the tide charts.
I will never get tired to remind you to bring your bigger kite.
A 13-14m flat with twin tip if you light (around 70 kilos) or a 12m flat if you use surfboard.
See you in Bali

i will be in sanur from the 24th of june for 2 weeks and was wondering if there are any shallow (10-100cm) areas of flat water or is it all waves or chop.
also when you get out in bali what is the wind usually like (strength, and is it usually onshore/cross shore etc)?
thanks for the help

JACK THE KITESURFING TOUR GUIDE
Jack was our taxi/kitesurfing guide and very good via previous thread.
Very good and helped with everything with kiting etc.
We have had a good couple of days kiting in Sanuar sat for about 3 hrs on a 12mtr xbow3 & sun was 5 hrs on 9mtr + 10.5mtr. Kiting both Sanuar & Nasa Dura.
We paid $30 + Lunch (Look after our Bali friend) for the day kitesurfing.
Very Very Good Value. Ask for Jack his mobile is +628123609622.
Just returned from 2 weeks kiting Bali
. kited every day except one, with a couple of days around 20 knts. took an 08 16m flow and an 08 12m flow. used the 12 once. (100kg with 135 protoy). Sanur is the go for the south easterlies, more user friendly than nusa dua. Used Jack as taxi/guide/kite assistant (see phone no above) and he was great. super helpful, and has the spots wired. i left my gear with him the whole time which simplified my life as he was also carting around my family etc etc. if you ask nicely, he'll chuck an esky in the back and fill it up with Bintang
which you'll need after a nice long bali session...
cheers T
