Hey,

I've got two 2014 Noise Pros. A 10 and a 12.

Both of the inflate valves are stuffed. The little ball has fallen through the back and they both release air rapidly. I've tried using hot water and placing the plug in to maybe resize them from stretching but this didn't work.

What are my options?
Who can recommend some good replacement valves?
Where can I send these in WA to get fixed if the price is right?

Also my chicken loop is cracked on both bars.

I love my kites but this is a bummer. Hopefully is doesn't happen to my 2015 8m!

Cheers.

BWS website for a replacement chickenloop, or just tape it up?
Valves, get some "FixmyKite" brand valves from one of your local kite shops, pretty sure Action SportsWA and Westozkiteboarding will both have them in stock, probably KSS in Scarbs too.
They are not hard to replace, there are video's on the FixmyKite website, but I don't know who you could send the kites to for them to do for you, try the phone?

Is it just the little ball or is it that you cant pump it up because a lot of guys used to pop the value ball out on purpose to make it easier to pump up.

You then have be faster to close the inlet cap.

Seriously,
If your stoppers are leaking get a larger one, to stem that leak,
Stoppers with ribbs are the go
If your stopper balls gone AWOL
Put an extra pump into kite to allow for small loss of air when placing in stopper,
If you carnt handle this terrible scenario
Then go to your local kite shop, give them your gear and ask them to fix it for you
Whilst your at home google the top 10 countries for innovative people
You'll see we're down the ladder

Another tip for you,
You've noticed the dramas are with your inflates,
That's because you leave the stopper in and you pull the stopper from the deflate,
That's why your deflates ok,
So when you come in, pull both deflate and inflate, bonus it also deflates quicker for packing
Then you wont have this drama

Not sure what you are describing, but if the stoppers / plugs dont hold any more, you can put some O-rings around the outside of the valve stem to tighten the valve fit. Regarding stopper ball, just forget about them, if your pump is OK the valves in the pump will hold the pressure, you then just pinch off the valve while putting in the plug.
Get the O-rings from Bunnings, plumbing section.

takes me back a bit when I mistakenly bought a black tip and stuffed up a strut bladder trying to get the ball back in the valve.

cannot believe they still make kites this way.

or is it because it is the "pro" model?

Where is tye real quality control in this industry its like Billabong in the share market and commonwealth bank not upholding their contracts..... Consumerism gone mad..?if i did this in my business i wiuld be fuct so why di we tolerate this poor and selfish performance from the companies?

Yep that's the key, always take both stoppers out to avoid stretching the input valve. Funnily enough this pearl of wisdom was given to me by someone who is involved with the BWS brand. So that kinda tells a story.

Not sure I really wanna wiegh in so much on this conversation. Seems like its gotten a bit heated.
Iv been running a Kite Repair Buisness for several years and I have been servicing and repairing all of BWS Kite school kites for awhile aswell as the trade in kites they take back. I cant speak highly enough for BWS and what they are achieveing. They had a bit of bad luck with some bladders but have stood by thier product and looked after everyone that comes to them. I see atleast 10 kites a week with valve issues from other brands and so far I havnt seen anybof those brands offering to pay for the repair of free new bladders. That too me is priceless. I also know what R and D goes into these kites, and its ALOT. Your talk8ng avout a kite brand that is owned by a former Slingshot designer and Built by a former Cabrinha designer. Thats a good resume I would say. So just remember if you buy a BWS kite, your name is on the sale, not a number.

Here's my take on why valves leak
For the straight kiter
Stick your thumb up your hoop
Painfull at first with a tight fit
Day 2 less painfull but your still not farting
Day 3 no pain and your letting out the odd phhhhhurrrrgghh
Day 4 you'll need a blind cobblers thumb to stem the flow
Same for our gay kiting friends but with a sweet potato and a watermelon on standby
This is how valves and stoppers work
