Don, this looks great!. I have spent some time watching the Maui Clouds in action with Paipos and other boards and these are really terrific kites. At first you look at the strutless design and then the angled wingtips and watch amazingly as it is launched in the air. When you launch the Cloud you immediately recognise that these kites weigh half plus what normal kites weigh. They are very light.
I have a 12M and a Paipos and love them both. Simple bar connections with the Cab Bar I have too but I eagerly await the new Cloud Bar which by all accounts will revolutionise the way we currently kite with bars. Looking forward to ditching the flapping leash. The kite also folds up to just a third of a traditional 12M.

Greg is doing a great job thinking outside the box with the Maui Cloud gear and I am sure we will see more of these on the beaches here in Aus.

I was able to source a Paipos from Greg last week (ordered on a friday, shipped monday, in my hand the next friday!!!).

They are really nice board and there is just nothing to them at all. Basically long thin bent pieces of wood and light as.
Waxed it up, put on some booties for extra grip and kited a Umina over the weekend (in the little surf, two and three footers).

I was up and running yesterday afternoon on a blade 17 and the Paipo in maybe ten knots.
It's as good as my nugget in light winds, but not as fast as my nugget in heavy winds.

It does point up wind really well (not quite the nugget but still good enough).
