Bloody great fun had by a few of us in pretty consistent 20 knot not westers late this arvo! Thought we would give the very northern end of the bay a go, good little ramps rolling through. After a pretty sketchy launch over the rocks and avoiding the trees at the top of the dune we were off! It was the first time me mate had been out in ages, both of us never right up this end of the bay. It was great to see the stoke on his face again! Came in as the rain squall approached on sunset, only to find the quarter window of me cruiser smashed, the glove box opened, me mates wallet, with 300 hard earned in it, his house keys all his cards and my wainman punch gone! They left me the bar and lines, cheers for that cockheads! What can you do or say? Shouldn't leave valuables in the car, shouldn't have parked in the little carpark behind the dune opposite the waste treatment plant, shouldn't have knocked off early and gone for a rip? Oh well.. Too late now. Just don't get too complacent fellas- there are scum everywhere! If anyone sees a black 10.5 wainman punch for sale anywhere? Let me know.

But man, move on. They Took some crap but if they take your mental state for a ride they win again.

May they rot in hell.

Make sure you've cancelled all your credit cards. Same thing happened to me at Leighton Beach a few weeks ago, got wallet stolen after they smashed a window and f****wits had nothing better to do than go straight to bottle shop courtesy of my credit cards.

Mate has his car broken into at Mullaloo today, parked next to the road south of the carpark. Stole wallet and didn't touch kiting gear in the car.

Sorry to hear that boys, seen your kites up there and knew that you had parked your cars down there.
The whole of the Peron area is a no park zone for kiters, tell the local grommets this all the time but they at least park in the obvious spots.
Sorry but park up there and expect your car to get broken into. I do every time I walk out to the point or climb the lookout.

You will see most people will park in front of Seal Island and sail up there, seriously 3 tacks and you are there, without the dodgy launch and the crackheads.

Not having go at you, but posting this as warning to others.

These crack pipe smokers will end up in Jail soon enough....They wont be able to sell the punch on the internet or at cashies ...so as long as its been reported theres a 50/50 chance of getting it back.fingers crossed for you.

If its the spot that I am thinking...Crystals (out past point Peron). Great little spot on a NorWester. Sorry to hear about your loss, those f#wits should be shot with a ball of their own **. That car park is a common break and enter spot...just check out the shattered window glass all over car park. A bit of social justice needs to be dished out...

That sux. I was I front of penguin island on a c4. One of you on airrush? Carpark at jetty end at least sees some traffic and is right next to shop. Not where u wanted to kite but at least safe. A few big tacks and you'd be there anyway. Agree with eppo-don let it eat you up to much....easy to say

SAFE ???? Thats where my cruiser was taken from. Took the keys from my gear on the beach & simply drove away.!!
Lesson learnt the hard way.
Everyone has to learn - no valuables in your car & find a way of securing your key/s.
If we all wait to learn the hard way the rewards are always there to keep the scumbags coming back for more.
ZERO VALUABLES - its a PITA but has to be the way.

Pricks and now they know an address with keys to get in, I got a box in the back that locks and a smaller tool box inside that with another padlock, otherwise I put my keys in a sandwich bag and bury it somewhere

That sucks in so many ways - sorry to hear of your grief but as a previous comment said - dont let the prixxks kill the kitesurfing kama.

I wonder if this spot is such a theif mecca - wouldnt it be a good place to set up a sting and catch the cxxts on camera and forward the footage to the police? a couple of empty wallets left on a seat or dash and hidden cameras?? Sure thats another cost re broken window - maybe rent a wreck as the bait??

Again sorry Windwatching - I'd be scarred also!!

Cheers boys! Mates changed the locks on his house. Should have known better.. Just keen to get out there! 3 guys who were already out proceeded to tack back towards shop and usual launch spot just as we setup.. The penny still didn't drop.
Been parking me rig all round the rocko coast for me whole life.. Night dives, boat trailer at ramp.. Sometimes into the next day, after all these years it's the first time so I guess it's not too bad, been pretty lucky. Definitely wont be so casual next time.. It'll be the long tack for us!
Or... Just wait for a bloody decent south, south wester to finally crank in at the pond!!! They've been a bit rare lately... Monday looks good at this stage? But I've probably jinxed it now!!

Hey mate, that sucks. We'll keep an eye out incase anyone comes and tries to sell it to us. We'll give you a call if they make an appearance and you can enforce whatever law you like on them
