Australian National Kiteboarding Titles Alva Beach

Hi guys,

The planning of the 2011 Nationals (Freestyle/Racing) + Wakestyle Comp in Alva Beach is coming along nicely .

We have put together a website with some info to check out (heaps more to be added) and the registration forms.

Most people will fly into Townsville. We will organize some transport for people to get to Alva and back. If you are keen to check out the region and be flexible/mobile please look into hiring a car in Townsville.

In regards to accommodation we have several options:
Riders and officials will be given the opportunity to stay in the Alva Beach Life Saving Club. We will have about 70 beds in there.
There will be heaps of camping space for people that wish to camp over the weekend on the Clubs grounds.

Additionally, we will have at Alva Beach Tourisat park Accomodations available for:

20 cabins for 40 people
2 cabins for 8 people
2 cabins for 4 people
Plus camping sites for 50+ tents.

Ayr (10km away from Alva) has got Hotels/Motels.

Arsa (Chris Wardel) will be in charge of the Wakestyle/Rail Comp.
After the Best Friends Rail comp we can expect some sick obstacles [}:)]

we could even set up the wakestyle park in one of the prawn ponds behind the beach. how sick would that be.
Local farm manager big Al and few other people have kited in the ponds before.
would be like a cable park for kiteboarding.

Flat water good wind and prawns ur on a winner there
