I was so wrapped to finally get a session today at Attadale - conditions were variable but overall I had a great sesh. Then I returned to my car to find some maggot had smashed my front passenger window and taken my Xmas gift Akubra which was sitting on the front seat.
At least one other car that I know of got the same treatment... possibly more.

might not seem like it,

they found the guys that smashed my car window,

don't know if you've already fixed the window
but I found Wayne's windscreens in Welshpool were reasonable on price
$700 windscreens O'brien
$400 Wayne's 93561100

Hey mate.

Sorry to hear you this.

Hope they catch them and tear them a new one!

thanks for that... something similar happened to me a couple of years ago so I made sure I had it covered in my insurance with only a $40 excess. I also thought that the theft would be covered but since discovered that with my policy personal effects loss is only covered if the car is stolen. Previously I also discovered that Widscreens Obrien is a total rip.

Your policy sounds dodgy
My insurance company wanted me to jump through hoops after I dropped my kiteboard on my laptop while on holiday, then the Mrs wrote on their Facebook page and the matter was solved almost instantly.

You dropped your kiteboard on your laptop? That's like the dog ate my homework story....
Did you at least try and claim both?

I was on the train from Germany to Denmark, I had my board on the overhead shelf and my laptop on the table (it was a nice train).
when the board fell I was just glad it didn't land on the woman opposite us

I don't know many people who haven't had their car broken into lately. In rich suburbs and scary suburbs. The bastards are everywhere. Saw a prick on a stolen bike checking out who's away for the holidays the other day, should have just run him over.
