Hi Corey,

The AKSA website is still under construction, but try emailing info@aksa.com.au as Emma might have a date set.

I think it is Feb 2008.

Another tack might be to contact Glen Hooper at www.xshore.com.au (they are a sponsor of seabreeze) as they have offered to run the event at Port Macquarie again after the great job earlier this year.

Cheers

The Wave Nationals are on!!!!!
February 6-10
Main location will again be Middle Rock, Lake Cathie between Lake Cathie and Bonney Hills. A search on google earth will show you the main location, it is a rocky outcrop betwen the lake and Bonney Hills.
If anyone requires assistance regarding the event,Accommodation/Airfares, feel free to contact me at XShore Port Macquarie on 0265841938
For those flying in, Virgin Airlines should be flying to Port Macquarie by then.

Hey Coreyb,

Never Have been Off since the end of the last event we have worked to make the magic happen again.

Have a look at the event section on this forum and you can see the dates, they have been there for about 5 months now. Seedings and State allocataions should be available next week through your state association.

Looking at your profile you will be in the OPENS division so you will need to have a spot through WAKSA or wild card entry to enter this division.

We are getting alot of interest for the event from prospective competitors so get you entry in as early as you can. Entry Forms will be available next week and all AKSA members will notified via email or post (if no email) at this time.

As for organistion we are happy to now have you on board as a volunteer at the event reporting directly to myself and Richard, Porta-loos always need attention.

Thanks Dude and see you in Port.

P.S If anybody needs help or advice for accomodation then PM or email us and we will help you out. REMEMBER THE DATES ARE 6th to 10th FEB 2008 and it will be at the Middle Rock Site again.

Full event schedule early next week.

Regards

Hey Josh K,

At this stage I believe they will be in Tannum with the help of Craing, Hudson, Emma and Coconet. Best to email the inbox at AKSA or KBM and get the low down of where, when, how etc and as soon as the AKSA site is updated then it will be there in bold black and white, I'm Sure.

Till then keep rippen it up and gettin it on for the Freestyle NATS....

Regards

Glen

Hi Sam
It is Location 1 if we get NE wind like last year.
The accommodation starts from camping sites at the southern end of the contest beach (Bonny Hills Caravan Park), backpackers in Port Macquarie, to budget motels in Port, to luxury rooms with SPA and views etc, depending on your budget and needs.
Will post a list later today of prefered accomodation for the event. The prefered accommodation is businesses that have helped with the sponship and running of this event.
For any further assistance you can contact me at Xshore Port Macquarie.
Email port@xshore.com.au or call 0265841938

Josh, I believe that the freestyle nationals are going to be in QLD but its not at Tannum. From what i understand Emma,Bill and Hudson are organising it but I'm not sure on the dates or the exact location,Elliot was mentioned but i dont wether its been set in stone yet.Coconet did offer to help, but the last that I heard was that the AKSA was going to go it alone.
