Is it my impatience, or does it seem like a late start to the WA season?

What's happening over east? Are you getting some good wind already?

20knts friday and Saturday at kalbarri, called in at horrocks around lunch, wind was in around 20knts , got home to Dongara for a late Sunday session beautifully powered on my. 10, Tuesday was 7mtr and just sat down looking at a powered 12 session ahead, it's been like this for around a month with the odd day 15 knts inbetween , not any swell though

Been crap in NQ since may/june had a decent five day high last week of 20 knots daily , been since faced with consistent diving/fishing weather, ah well.

What? I didn't see you at Horrocks! I went out Sunday arvo on the 8 and had a fine old time. I think the swell has been ok actually .. 1 to 1.5m most of the time which is over head high. I've been getting out 4 or 5 times a week the last couple of months which has been great. A bit too much of this crappy cloudy weather though I have to say.

there have been some pretty good seabreezes on the south coast (nsw) but it's only approx 2 per week so far. Normally we would see double that by this time of year. I reckon this season has been pretty slow to get going

Called in checked it out, had a yak with Craig, looked up to the castle , didn't see any sign of king David or his wenches on the verandah, wind was ok but water conditions looked a bit of a yawn, surprised as the was a bit of swell around at kalbarri , had a sweet solo session when home , pretty blessed having this coast virtually to ourselves,

Sunny coast has been getting some northerly activity off troughs which we get a bit of a seabreeze effect on top of. Wouldn't say the proper sea breezes have started here yet though. The bastards down south are doing a lot better.

Haha maybe I need to have a flag to let people know if the sandcastle is occupied or not! I think looking out from the boat ramp straight at the surf doesn't give a good impression.. You need to come up to my place and look straight down the reef to see the waves working :)

Anyway good you had a decent session at home. I spend a bit too much time kiting on my own so I love some company. Matt finished harvesting yesterday so great to have a young bloke out today to inspire me out of my comfort zone!

Townsville was cranking above 20knots since the Kite Foil Gold Cup and only recently has it died off. This whole week has been dead and next week as well, but looks like it will come back anyway due to cyclone season. Some great SUP weather though!

Kited every day this week in Perth... some days have been a little light but waves have made up for it...

We have had a few nice sea breezes in Vic already but they haven't kicked in regularly yet.

We have also had some honking storms to liven things up!

Dude are you one of those guys that only has a 6 m in there quiver!.I do a fifo roster and half of my life I'm at work.I have had around 25 beautiful kiting days on the water this season all ready. The guys in the central west have not stoped. I'm sure some guys and girls have cranked up 50 kiting days already. In perth over the last 4 days I have done around 80 kms worth of down winders over 6 sessions. You have to get a bigger kite for the early part of the season and also the later part of the season!

Not sure about other parts of NSW, but here on Botany Bay the usual nor'easters are just not filling in most days so far. Hopefully it will improve soon...

Sunny Coast Qld has been pumping ,only had 3 or 4 days off in the last 3 weeks

been out on the 12m a few times

But mostly on the 9m

but out on the 7m 4-5 times in the last week or so

even took the 5m for a 18 km Downwinder the other day but was a little bit underpowered

Northernly for 5 days then Southernly for a while back to the north and back to the south
