I have heard some feedback on the Bandit 4, according to the importer is the equivalent to a 4 stroke motorbike where as the B3 was 2 stroke. I was interested in getting some real info on them from there site but just found a lot of wank which has really turned me off the brand. The importers sound like there stroking something, get on the M8 website and check out the review if you need a good laugh.

There are some demos getting around at the moment and the real feedback is they definitely feel more like a c kite take a while to get used to as they have completely changed again. they need to be trimmed better as they can stall easier than the B3 so getting the right size would be more important, the canopy is no where near as stable as the B3 so we will have to wait and see if we have another Hindenburg on our hands. Loops were noticeably better and the kite climbs smoother to the top of the window. We are going to have one in Whyalla on the weekend but its only a 9m so may not get enough wind to take it out. So will have to wait and see.

They had onepump on the B3 and have improved it again on the B4 getting rid of the cable ties that hold on the tubes.

if bandits are so good why do they completely change them each year?

If it was any good you would think there would only be refinements

I think they forget they have an established market for the bandit. By changing it every year they loose customers that have supported them to try and pick up other customers, wouldn't it make more sence to bring out a second kite

Yup thats why I am still on B1 and B2s...Hoping this year bridges the gap...otherwise will try this years replacement for the revolt..which is basicly a dos.

Has anyone who has received a B4 got a manual with there new kite.
Or does anyone know where I can download it.
I had an old Cabrinha CO2 which you had to ride low in the window with a lot of weight on my back foot.
I believe with the B4 and most new kites the kite is flown up higher with an even displacement of weight across the board.
I am very pumped about having the equipment being on my side.

Got a B4 10m, still waiting on the manual so let me know if you find one. I had a look online but couldn't find one.

But as far as the kite goes, its a great kite, flies super smooth, am boosting higher and and progressing faster in the last few weeks than the last few years. One of the best I have flown so far

Give it a demo and decide for yourself, I am pretty sure Surf Sail can arrange a demo.
