Just got a mate getting started a bargain SB3 10m with no bar and lines. So I gotta use a different bar that I can also get cheap. But someone told me that cabrinhas don't use equal length lines.

So, anyone know how long the lines are?

Thanks

equal line lengths for the sb3.

it's only the ids kites that have shorter front lines due to the length of the ids system.

Sweeeet. Cheers Djdojo. that makes things easy. Thanks for you help.

Edit, Are you totally sure. I've since heard from another mate that he reckons the back line are longer, Says that cabrinha kites had different length from and back lines for a few years before and including SB3's...

totally sure. i took nearly a metre off one lineset several months ago due to wear at one end. they were within a couple of cm of equal length when i initially checked and i trimmed to exact equal length and they work great.

the standard test applies if you want to check another bar/lineset: get your bar and lines, tie the ends to a solid object and when you pull on the bar and the chickenloop, the bar should be almost all the way to the chickenloop (as though at full power) with all lines equally tight/long.
