Interested if anyone has used or reviewed for kiting and/or surfing...http://shop.bwsurf.com/products/dhd-white-noise
I'd be looking in reviews if I was u, just sayin .
I looked in there - and the only comments are about the specs, no review from anyone who has *ridden* one. Hence my question.
They look great, but maybe someone can enlighten me...
How is this board any different to any regular surfboard? Apart from being more expensive.
Also not sure about kiting with FCS 2. Where I kite it's often close to shore and I wonder about poppin fins out.
FCS II is great for kitesurfing. Have it in my Celeritas for several months now. No popping out and very nice to easily remove fins after riding for transport.
^ yeah just looking at it the fins pop out from the back. So if you run into sand or reef should not pop out. Also accepts grub screws and the old fins.
It's a DHD "Switchblade" surfboard with extra glass. Still not sold on the one board concept.
FCS system for kiting easily solved with supa glue.

Yeah, exactly... And what you said dowls. I would love to have a board that I can legitimately kite and surf with a minimum of compromise, but I kinda feel that the only thing that would do it would be made out of a unicorn horn.
have you ridden the DHD switchblade dowls?
